This is not your typically hotel. Rooms are cleverly designed, don't have windows, but get natural light from a skylight in the bathroom. We had 2 nights in a deluxe room, which was relatively large, very clean and quiet, as it is at the back. Breakfast was very good and served in a cafe across the road. There is no restaurant in the hotel. Very nice and friendly staff. They even went to the bus stand for us to get a ticket, because for some reason our online booking didn't go through

We book their family suite, the room is huge and very well furnished. Checked in was smooth (welcome drinks was served) and the staff guide us to the carpark. Staff were friendly during our stay, the front desk staff even gave us a local guide leaflet. The hotel is very centrally located, in the old part of the old town, making it very convenient to move around this wonderful old town. Great place to stay while you are in Melaka.

Hotel was great! Very accommodating staff.
Location was perfect, walking distance to where we wanted to be.
Complimentary breakfast served in another shophouse by two wonderful ladies with excellent choices.

We stayed for 2 nights and we enjoyed our stay. We were well taken care of by the wonderful staff. The room was delightful, comfortable, clean. The breakfast selection is not extensive but its delicous and enough to keep your day going. Would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Great find. Where do we start. Location, perfect, easy walking from al, the main things you'd want to visit. Staff, excellent, reception, portering, cleaning, catering (I'll come to that) all a credit to the hotel. Parking, ok, little bit of a drive round the block, but there's a short-cut walk to the back if the hotel. Room, clean, spacious, everything you need, unfortunately we seemed to be sharing with a Mossi that we could never catch n kill. Catering, that would be breakfast, served across the street. Really good. Good options. Helpful friendly staff, nice fresh breakfast. And a nice location, surprised they don't do evening meals (maybe they do). And for the ladies - directly opposite the hotel is a beaded shoe shop - take a look, be impressed, grab a bargain.
