I had gone diving with a group of friends. The dive instructor, Mr Dhirendra Rawat had misbehaved with one of my friends under water. She was completely helpless and this monster of a man shamelessly took advantage of her underwater.

This is not the first time this is happening. There have been 2 other cases reported against this guy. He is a sexual offender.

There is nothing that will stop this third rate of a person to repeat the act.
He has to be punished for his previous acts.

AVOID DREAMZ DIVING!

We went diving with a group of friends in December and the diving instructor took one of our friend and misbehaved with her underwater.. Can you imagine her helplessness when she couldn't even fight back under water.. Because of some compulsions we could not file a Police complaint.. That is something we regret now.. This monster should have been put in jail a long time back..

Girls, if you have to go diving, please make sure you are accompanied by your friends underwater and insist that you stick together.. Its a sad state.. But its true..!!

This place is near Murdeshar. Shirrur.
Every person is accompanied by only one instructor and there is no one else around them in case of emergency which is when Dhirender Rawat took advantage, trespassed and misbehaved with a girl. This is not the same as the previous review and it has been repeated. The only mistake they did was not to read the reviews from tripadvisor before going. He is a devil. All girls please stay away from him and make sure you are around people under water wherever it is. Complaint has been lodged and he is under custody for now. My sincere advice is that no one goes to this place and severe action must be taken against him.

I would not like to go into the details, but had a terrible experience (after my diving, that is). One of the girls from our team was accompanied by the instructor Dhirendra Rawat and he misbehaved with her. Misbehaved is a very small word I can use compared to what all she went through (don't want her to see this and go over the traumas again). A Monster of a man. Certainly would advise anybody and everybody (Girls especially) to stay away from him.So grateful that she was brought back safely from the water-bed after all the torments she had to go through.

Please do dive. but watch out with who you go diving. My friend was strong enough to get back to the land and then take out her vengeance. hope such things never ever happen again. Hope Rawat never gets to dive again and spoil diving for any other.

The 'Terrible' I rated is only for people to see this and know him (and stay away from him). its not for the Diving.

This was my first SCUBA diving experience and I didn't have the time to go through a 3-4 day PADI certification course so I picked the 1 day 'Discover SCUBA' course.

You're briefed on the basics of SCUBA diving at the office in Murudeshwar and then equipment is loaded on to a boat along with which you travel to Netrani island; 1.5 hours off the coast line. The island is secluded and beautiful and waters are clear (not crystal clear, but clear) . The boat is anchored off the island and you're then given snorkelling gear to snorkel around the waters for a while. This wasn't the greatest cuz the water isn't crystal clear, but is still thrilling being out in the open water.

Then you are equipped with SCUBA gear and dive along with an instructor. The instructor sticks with you the whole time and guides you along at depths up to 12m. A good amount of aquatic life but a gross lack of any corals. Or at least no vibrant coloured corals at all. But definitely a good number of fish around.

Overall, an enjoyable experience but the dive time being only 30 mins is too short IMO. But then again, it's only a discovery course.
