My visit was an ok experience thanks to the awesome service by sagar, Purna, and prashant. But will not visit again. The beach is not secluded but crowded. Limited variety of drinks and snacks outside of the included 3 meals. Breakfast buffet doesn't include juices need to pay extra. No inhouse masseuse available need to go to the nearby resort.

Pros

1. Rocky beach with Beautiful view
2. Food that is provided as part of the package is good
3. Service by Purna, Sagar, And prashant is awesome.
4. Eco friendly so no A/C but comfortably cool
5. No outside guests allowed in the restaurant

Cons

1. Beach is small and very crowded as against serene and secluded.
2. You get up to couples PDA and families posing and screaming even at 6:30 am.
3. Snacks not included in the package, limited options available to order at expensive reates and below average quality
4.Drinks variety limited and very expensive as compared to the other similar restaurants of goa.
5. Food and drinks available only till 10:30.
6. Siddesh, the manager either is watching cricket or sleeping in the reception with no interaction at all with customers.
7. To reach the resort you need to cross 200 steps.
8. No garbage bins on the beach resulting in garbage littered on the beach.
9.No swimming in the sea allowed and lagoon is crowded.
10. No spa in house. Need to go to the nearby resort.
11. Even though they have a card machine, the manager Siddesh insisted that we pay him on his personal account using gpay.
12. Internet is very flaky.

Hello Shweti, sorry for your unpleasant experience however after checking with our boys Purna Sagar and Prashant who you found great we heard another story from them ...

1) youll wanted your food late into the night even though our time is between 8,30 to 10.30 pm ( they still provided youll food even at 11.45 pm and that too with a set up on the beach with candles)
2) where and when have we mentioned that we will provide snacks in the package? we still bent backward and provided you with snacks .
3) our masseur hasnt been called by us this year due to the pandemic for your safety which is actually a loss to us!!

4) we are not responsible for the crowd or the noise on the beach and for your information the beach is public and everyone has a right to enjoy it too.

5) we even allowed youll to play your type of loud music and only when you didnt stop playing till late in the night did we ask you stop .

6) to reach the resort you need to cross steps !!! what were you expecting? a buggy?

7) we only asked you to pay cash for the car and other services as thats paid to the drivers directly

8) Sudesh works very hard the whole day and stays awake late into the nights as some guests like yourself like to play loud music so I think if he slept on one occasion it shouldn't matter to you.

next time please read the about the resort and othe reviews so that you have an idea as to where you are going and what one should expect so that you and we are both not disappointed.

We stayed here for two nights in mid February. We stayed in Room 9 which is the top most room on the hill and has both the lagoon view and the sea view.

Location -
There is about one or two km of dirt road that you have to travel on before you can reach the stairs that take you to the resort. The resort is located on a hill next to a river and the beach. The river is almost still so it forms a beautiful lagoon that stretches a long way from the beach to the inland. Its one of the most clean beaches we have seen in Goa with the sweet water river being impeccably clean. We walked along the banks of the river from the restaurant at the resort and came across a small bridge made from an uprooted coconut tree. The water was deep enough to dive and shallow enough to stand. You can get away from the crowds that swim at the mouth of the river if you are staying at the resort by walking upstream like we did.

About the room -
Room was spacious with a balcony and had French windows on one of the walls so you could open it up and you would be greeted with a view of the lagoon and coconut trees. The views are just remarkable, one of the best hill side resorts we have ever stayed in.

Food -
All the meals were included and the meals were made fresh and were yum. They had a decent spread for both vegetarians and non vegetarians and they changed the menu on a daily basis. The food was served in the restaurant which was located at the bottom most level of the resort next to the beach. We really enjoyed the desserts, especially the cake baked by their chef.

Activities -
The most popular activity to do was kayaking on the river. The resort has its own kayaks and lifejackets that you can take for free anytime you want during your stay here.

What we absolutely loved about the resort was the fact that they don't allow non guests to dine at the restaurant. This ensures you have your privacy.

Room tip: Try out room 9

Eco Dwarka is a trip by itself, don't plan anything else when coming here because you won't want to leave this gorgeous place.
The staff is warm and friendly, they take care of everything with a smile, the rooms have this cosy vibe which is perfect with a view of the sea and lagoon, constant waves sound is mesmerizing (the only thing missing was an ac for the afternoons, with direct sunlight the rooms get very hot),the food is homey and delicious, the staff arrange for everything you might need (massage, dolphin sighting trip, good conversation, beach beds, canoeing in the lagoon)
With the sea to your left and a fresh water lagoon to your right, it's the best Goa holiday one can ask for!

*you will have to climb up and down steps constantly to reach rooms but it's fully worth the trek

Very unpleasent experience, booked it with very excitement and first what we saw when entered the room is a live snake in the balcony... yes you read it right a three foot snake going away from balcony towards stairs and immediately when checked with the staff they tried to bluff me that its not a poisioness snake, who cares and who knows if its poisoness or not but after all its a snake... we were literally scared and did not even open the balcony for entire stay, point to be noted this place is nothing if you dont go stand in the balcony and enjoy the scenic locaiton.. now coming to food the quality was good but for the bomb charged its not at all worth. Would never waste my money here in life time.

Room tip: No tips, avoid this place its scary.

Dear Lava B, Can you imagine what the snake felt when he saw a human !! don't forget , we are not the only beings owning this planet !! they were here before us and especially snakes were there long long back..so actually we have invaded their habitat and we at Dwarka are guilty too..!!! I advise you to read the descriptions of a property 1st so that you don't get disappointed once you come here. .and belive me snakes are less dangerous then human beings..

most of us are so used to eating fancy foods nowadays that we dont care about its quality ..as long as it looks good its ok..that's why most end up taking pics of their plates 1st..we serve just the old fashioned fresh and homely food and if you like that then you are more than welcome..we don't even have a fridge so we serve absolutely fresh food..

try and respect other beings as well !!!

We as a family of 4 (2 adults & 2 kids) visited Dwarka Echo Beach Resort in the month of November’20 on the occasion of our anniversary.
This place is truly mesmerizing !!!
There are only 10 exclusive cottages perched on a hilltop all having unobstructed sea view. Their restaurant downstairs facing the beach is only meant for its guests which adds to the privacy. The owners of Dwarka have done a great job in maintaining the exclusivity of the property. The food is pretty much like simple home cooked food, but very fresh & tasty. Only thing I would suggest is to add a few more stuff in the spread so as to add to the variety.
Ours was cottage number 8 with a large balcony having one of the best views one can ever wish for. Absolutely loved the stunning views & sound of sea waves throughout our stay. Our kids also loved spending most of their time on the beach & the lagoon, also did some kayaking.
Special mention for Siddesh,Purna,Sagar & Sahil. These guys really made sure we had an awesome time. They are always polite & readily happy to serve with a smile. Really appreciate their efforts for setting up a lovely candlelight dinner on the beach for our anniversary. The cake prepared was simply delicious.
Would highly recommend this place to everyone... surely is a must visit!!!!
