Not sure why it is called Tibetian market as it is run by mostly locals and there is hardly any item from Tibet! Good collection of stones and silver jewellery and a lot of brass items and collectible on display. Everything is too expensive to start with but remember to bargain hard if you like anything to buy!

We have been there loads off times as it's 2 mins from our hotel and went in daily..some lovely jewlery as we have bought some.and there all very polite but be prepared to haggle..and there is a cafe in there for the stall holders. You must try the coffee and food as it's the real macoy. Not for the visitors but it's cheap and tastes great..this place is a must to visit if ya like nice silver things but the problem is the variety and choosing something

An old Tibetan market selling beaded jewelry as well as sterling silver. Should bargain. You will find similar stalls at other markets.

Nothing much other than sellers selling some old fashioned jewellery and antique. Bargain hard. We bought one item and he came to 1/3rd of the initial quoted price
