Some nice items but the Tibetans unlike the Asians will NOT barter.
Their prizes are un realistic and it's the same no matter where they are.
Greedy!!

Lovely selection of jewellery. The prices are not set and are done by weight. Be prepared to haggle. There are also some ethnic items such sound bowls, rugs, brass wear. Well worth a visit, can also be found on Wednesdays in Anjuna market.

Cool, shady market. No hassle from the stallholders, if you show interest so do they. Silver is especially good. well worked and fair prices.
Don't expect massive discount, all silver is weighed but there is some flexibility in price. They are lovely people to deal with.
If you don't buy just go in, look round and talk to them. you will learn a lot about tibet and possibly life.

You need to have an eye for stuff which you can make good use off. There are many small things which you can pick up and really add to your collection..

People bargain here so plan accordingly...

The market can be easily located and its on the main road. The shops does provide a variety and large no of whatever items u need ranging from costume jewellery, showpieces, apparels and many more. But it seemed to me the prices that are being demanded are too high. The objects being saled there does not seem to be of much value.
