We stayed here in Jan 2012, this is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in and we have been going to India since 2005. We arrived at 2 am and shown to our room. The room boy tried to switch on the electric but no joy - the light switch was hanging off the wall. The room was dark and dingy and very damp so slept on a towel. Every night coach loads of Indians arrived and the noise levels were unbearable. The owner had to go out one night and tell them to go to bed because even he couldn't sleep. The bar was closed at 11 pm every night on the dot, even if you wanted another drink you wouldn't get one, but you could watch the rats saunter by for entertainment. Fantastic location, beautiful surroundings - what a shame.

We stayed here for 6 weeks, our first time to Goa. The hotel is basic however the staff are very friendly, rooms cleaned daily if you hand your key in. We enjoyed mixing with the groups of Indians, usually students from Bangalore, who also enjoyed chatting with us(the English). We met some lovely people, some from various places in England aswell as Canadians and Russians.
Breakfasts are very basic, 2 toast and pot of tea or coffee, the coffee is lovely. Other items are available but you pay for those however they are very cheap, 50 or 60p for fried eggs, beans etc.,
The bar is next to the pool, not always well stocked however you always find something. The hotel is next to the main Catholic Church which you can use as a shortcut into town, 10 minutes. The beach is about 20 mins walk, or use a tut tut or taxi. We went on various trips, the crocodile trip, the zoo, elephant washing, markets, and night cruise. Had a lovely holiday and hope to go back again this year for another 6-8 weeks. Friends we met have already booked for this year.
You must remember it is a 2 star hotel in India and what you receive is 2 star - what you pay for.

I have been in many different hotels in India and in Goa and I know that you have to adjust your tolerance to "an Indian level". That is not a problem for me, but this hotel was huge disappointment. We had paid our room 6 months before we came there and though there was no room for us for the first night?! We had to sleep in some goddam spare room, which was really dirty and discusting. Next 5 nights we stayed in our "own" room. 6 days and 5 nights and following things happened (or actually did NOT happened): sheets were not changed once, towels were not changed once, room was not cleaned once, they did't bring us toilet paper even they promised (we asked it in very first day). In a corridor outside of our room there was an used condom, which I asked them to clean away. They did remove that condome, but all liquids around it they just left there. I don't have to mention that we lived whit cockroaches...Receptionists were rude. Only positive thing was pool guys, who were relatively friendly (comparing to others). If you think that this is a cheap hotel, you are right. But is it worth it? Believe me, it is not. There is a lot of nice and cheap hotels in Goa, keep searching, this is not the one you are looking for. P.S. Photos of the hotel are really old, it doesn't look like that anymore.

Stayed here for two weeks in december and had a great time, extremelly freindly staff, excellent room service, sereved meals to the room, Allowed you to drink your own drinks after the bar closed. Don't forgrt to order the hot water and hand keys in at reception for your room to be cleaned, Although the deco could do with updating it is just what you pay for cheap no frills...
