We as a family of three traveled with our one year old and as such we needed a place with a decent kitchen facility to cook baby food.. The apartment was spacious and Rommel along with his family were very cordial. We had a wonderful and pleasant Goan holiday. Will genuinely recommend.

I visited Goa last month with my family comprising elderly parents and a 6.5-year-old child. As a rule, we prefer home stays or serviced apartments that give us the facility to prepare quick meals for our kid. This time, we were also looking at a place away from the crowd and noise of North Goa. Ashirwaad was recommended by a distant acquaintance and suited our needs perfectly. We took the 2-bedroom non-AC apartment. The rooms are well ventilated with a lot of light and air and independent balconies too. Hot water is available 24 hours. Everything was clean right from the bathroom to the bedding. The kitchen had all basic equipment and facilities and you are allowed to prepare full meals if you want to. The location is the best part! The immediate neighborhood is quiet but the place is just a stone's throw away from the crossing where there are shops and transport available easily. In fact, if you are in the mood and weather and health permit, you can even walk down to Benaulim Beach that is just 1.3 km away. We must especially mention Mr Rommel Fernandes' hospitality. He had taken care of everything down to the last detail. From the time we initiated our booking, he was very clear and transparent in explaining all that we can or cannot expect. We really enjoyed our stay at Ashirwaad and would recommend it highly to all families who prefer neat, well-maintained accommodation at a reasonable price in a perfect location.
Cons - There is only one bathroom. It did not hamper our plans in any way but those used to attached baths may just have to keep this in mind :-)

This was my 2nd visit. without a second thought decided to stay here. It is just the kind of place you would like to visit to refresh/reboot yourself. Doesn't matter whether you are coming with family or friends. Safe and Peaceful feels Home away from home. A helpful and very kind hearted owner.

We stayed for 3 nights, 2 bed room AC apartment with kitchen, fully cleaned well maintain and hygienic. Apartment location very nice, most safe. We really enjoyed here, Owner Rommel is very helpful and friendly. Near beach,restaurant, super market etc... This is the best Homestay in South Goa. I would recommended others to stay here.

We can not ask more than this from Mr.Rommel. Home away home for my kids.Took care of so nicely we were not bothered for anything.Rooms were very clean and tidy.All amenities were available next door.Thank you Rommel and fly.
