I've been holding retreats and trainings at Satsanga since they opened. As retreats and trainings are a big part of my work I have spent time at many places in Europe and India over the years and I always return to Satsanga knowing that the service and standards will always be great as well as the environment Olaf and Emma have created. All of the staff there are attentive, helpful and friendly, plus both Olaf and Emma are genuinely concerned with all the guests needs as well as the teachers. Each year I return knowing that from picking up students at the airport, to the amazing buffet each day that everything will be taken care of. The Shala spaces are both beautiful and fully equipped with everything you need. The pool is beautiful as well as the lush vegetation that has been cultivated within the grounds. Not too far from the fun and chaos of the Anjuna beach life, but in a peaceful, calm environment. I highly recommend this place for teachers booking retreats and trainings. You'll be looked after!!

Room tip: If you want an outdoor shower, ask for one on the top floor!

My friend and I had recently organized a Yoga retreat at Satsanga and we were really touched by the quality of the place, the caring staff and the delicious and healthy food. The Yoga Shalas are beautiful and really well furnished and maintained. The surrounding brings also really good vibes to the practice. The place have a beautiful garden and a beautiful swimming pool. Also available, different types of Ayurvedic massages and consultations on site with holistic medicines professionals. I personally had one of the most amazing abhyanga massage and a really good workout with the physiotherapist called Nerhu. It's also a place which offers the opportunity to meet incredible and talented people. I highly recommend this sweet cocoon of peace, quietness and harmony.

I stayed here for a week on a yoga retreat. The resort was simply beautiful. The rooms were comfortable (and all equiped with mosquito nets), the pool and surrounding areas beautiful with lots of places to read a book/relax and the food, all vegetarian and made freshly inhouse by wonderful staff, was amazing. The yoga shalas were great spaces with good energy and the vibe of the whole resort was so calm and rejuvenating. It's run by Olaf and Emma, ably assisted by a wonderful group of staff. Their presence really made this place feel like a home away from home

Stayed for 7 nights as part of a yoga retreat. The owners Olav and Emma make you feel very welcome and attend to any queries promptly. They also gave us good advice about all aspects of safety and travel. The staff are very friendly;the food is divine as is the head chef-always available to give advice about her cooking. The facilities are very good and the pool is refreshing after yoga sessions. Will definitely return soon.

I stayed here for a week whilst on a yoga retreat - beautiful yoga shalas, gorgeous massage available from experienced practitioners, friendly staff and surrounded by nature; flowers, dogs, trees and sunshine. The pool was an added bonus in the heat, the food was organic, local and yummy - not too spicy which was good for me. The rooms were basic but equipped with mosquito nets and a good bathroom with shower.
