Had a #2 gyro (with feta cheese) and it was very, very large for a reasonable price. The cucumber sauce was delicious like made in Greece. The meat was tasty and very fresh. It had a lot of flavor or zing.
The inside of the restaurant is clean and welcoming and for an enjoyable meal.
It's excellent when you're dying for a gyro. There is NO better authentic gyros in both Pensacola and Mobile around here. It does not worth to drive elsewhere.

Great little place with good food, interesting gyro options, and served at a reasonable price. We go there frequently from work!

Gyromayer's has the best gyros in Baldwin County, AL. I had gyros in Europe, the taste is the same. It is very clean, relaxing and friendly place. The owner always get 100 % by Health Department. I would recomend to try everyone. It is very reasonable price. Gyro snack $2.99!

This place apparently was once located in Fairhope and rather well liked. My experience here wasn't exactly positive. It's a clean and newish looking place, not a hole in the wall like John's. The gyros here are pretty huge compared to competitors and more garlicky. The meat was not very good, though, and that's the main flavor you're looking for in a gyro. The man behind the counter seemed a little gruff. Between that and the entirely-too-hot-to-eat-in interior, it didn't exactly make me feel welcoming. It stays open but never seems to do much business.

If you're just a gyro junkie out to try every kind you can, this might be worth a stop. But for sheer heavenly flavor, keep driving.
