This place is like the many restaurants that were featured in "Kitchen Nightmares with Gordon Ramsey." The unenthusiastic owners are not Italian and have no idea how to make even decent Italian food. It's all frozen and reheated (including the dinner rolls) and it's a real shame that this dump is the only option for Italian food in Enterprise. If they had any competition whatsoever, they'd be forever out of business. We've been here on two occasions assuming that maybe we were there on an off day the first time. Well, turns out, it's just the way it is at Milano's. The son of the owner always wears his hat backwards, and always appears annoyed at the arrival of a new guest. He waited on us and was awful. Mumbles continuously with that hat on backwards that you want to smack off his head. There are no apologies for the many mistakes they make and there appears to be no system for customer service. Somehow, they have a new location right across from the original location and on a Friday night visit there, the experience was equally terrible. We were the only table sat at around 6:30 on a Friday night. That should have been a red flag and a sign to turn around and go somewhere else right then and there. Instead, we gave them another chance only to be disappointed yet again. If you have one table in your restaurant and they have to wait for new rolls, a decent portion of Ranch for the salad and refills, you have problems! Charging extra for these items with the exception of the refills is beyond disrespectful to your customer.
If, for some reason, you care to give Milano's a try despite this fair warning, good luck to you. I hope you don't:
-get treated like you're a bother when you walk in (not get told to "sit wherever").
-get served previously frozen/pre-made rolls and frozen/reheated chicken.
-have to wait for your meal forever.
-get charged extra for ranch and rolls (find it on your receipt labeled as "Custom Charge")
-get your refills in a timely manner.
-watery spaghetti noodles.
Listen, if you want decent Italian food, get a Stouffer's meal and save your money. You'll save a lot and you'll get a better meal without the frustration.
If you're the owners of Milano's and you're reading this, don't reply, but instead, fix your place. Greet your customers in a professional way. Seat them with a smile. Pick one server to serve them entirely. Fix the many spelling mistakes on your menu.Tell your son to take off that *% HAT!! And figure out how to make fresh Italian food with fresh ingredients. You have a lot of potential. If you're burned out, and your heart's no longer in it, lock the doors and be done already.
