First, for the Price it was fine. If you expect a normal hotel, it is not. It more like a bed and breakfast. There were only 5 hangers and it was extremely noisy. I could hear people in the halls like they were in my room. The bed was terribly uncomfortable. Excellent air-conditioning. No iron in the room. Lot's of mosquitoes outside of the room. Window looked out to a wall.

This turned out to be a perfect place to stay during the World Cup. The price was reasonable (<$150 per night), the location was good (close to Derby Plaza, which is a major transport hub) and the room/hotel was modern and clean.

There is not much going on in that neighborhood (day or night), but it's an easy cab or bus ride to downtown, Boa Viagem or Olinda, where there's more to do. The breakfast: adequate, front desk staff: friendly and the room: totally fine. There are not many good options in Recife - this is an ok one.

I was expecting less than a hotel, but this place is great! Very clean, new, homely ambiance. Friendly staff and delicious breakfast as well! Location is good, but far from the beach. Would recommend to anyone visiting recife and looking for a bargain!

If you are looking for a more traditional place that feels more like a friends house, this is the place. The decorations and the layout is very cute and the staff is very friendly. There is a taxi spot very close so it's easy to get a taxi. The only downturn is that some rooms are facing the breakfast area, so you will have noise as soon as people start eating (6:00am).
If you want something simple and not a real hotel, this is a good choice.

It's very helpful to people interested in get the US VISA (my goal). You can walk to the American consulate and save money with taxi or another transport. It's not so far from Recife Airport. The rooms are clean and confortable.

Room Tip: Ask the recepcionist about the best Olinda's restaurant and where to drink a good beer at Recife Antigo
