Our first visit to Darjeeling saw us nestled in a clean , warm rooftop room of the Crescent resort in chilly November. Watching the starlit skies matched by thousands of lit homes against the dark sky at night is a magical moment.
It lives upto it's 4 star status in all aspects.
I have never been touched so deeply by any hotel so far. The hotel is a work of Love. Each aspect of it , right from each room, fixtures, furnitures, artifact's, art pieces, paintings, gardens, cutlery has been crafted with a keen artistic eye and is a pleasure to watch and enjoy. Truly a delight to the senses. We felt completely at home and didn't want to leave the hotel.
The service is prompt and staff very cordial. Always smiling and eager to please.

Food is excellent and the menu has a wide variety of choices. Right from the simple bread and butter to the luxurious delicacies like kosha maangsho, chicken curry, Macher jhol and surprisingly tasty paneer cutlet and hot manchow soup, we were transported to a culinary heaven.
Loved the breakfast of omelette, dosas, chicken sausages. Paratha and dum aloo.

If you want a luxurious stay, this is the place.
I would definitely love to revisit it again.
The tired body is refreshed and mind at peace.
