“Chennai Hot ,Hotter and Hottest”
Reviewed 24 July 2010

hi,i am mani from chengelpet .I am here to decribe my comfort and uncomfort during my visit to chennai,It is place where huge population and many MTC buses are there to travel to any part of chennai.During my visit it was april month ,it was hot i thought it would be lessened as days passed but i realized after one month of stay "Chennai is HOT ,HOTTER and HOTTEST".Chennai marina beach is wonderful sight for morning exercise and the cost of living is little bit high. All people are living unitedly.

Dscomforts are language problem and no proper use of government property both by people and by government itself .

“My favourite place in chennai is MAMBALAM”
Reviewed 20 July 2010

I went to mambalam for first time.Wow its a terrible shopping (i mean people).Heavy rush.we can see lot of people everytime round the clock. We can almost all kinds of products with cheaper rate from other places in chennai
during festivals people will go to mambalam before 20 days when festival starts because of rush
It is a wonderful place for shoppers in chennai

Ranganathan street is a 24 hrs hard working street(i mean full of rush)

But the terrible one is they dont maintain the cleanliness

New people to chennai should be aware of it
Other things have to say is excellent

Have a good happy shopping in mambalam

With friendly

“Hot and Happening”
Reviewed 20 July 2010

You get up to the smell of thasty Gheedosas and Idlys of South India. Chennai has a lot of food outlets, mind you they serve even Japaneese cuisine.
People are very nice, helpful, The city sleeps early. there are many malls and Cinemas to spend your time. The second largest artificial beach- the amrina beach is in chennai and defenitely worth visiting. Though people often say that it is a hot place, the beaches are like exceptions.
Many temples worth visiting and the best place for traditional south Indian Saree shopping.
You need to spend a whole day or two to cover the whole of T-Nagar, the shopping street in chennai.
Pubs and fun joints are many if the funky ones wanna a toe!
I have been in Chennai for th past 3 years and not one day i have wished for a transfer from this place!

“A marvellous cosmopolitan city”
Reviewed 20 July 2010

Of late, Chennai has become a happening place for tourists as many avenues open up. This industrial city (presently got a mention in forbes magazine of USA as the Detroit of South India) is known for its penchant beaches, soft idlis (a dish famous in this city) and the aroma filter coffees. There are many other major attractions here thanks to the globalization. Malls have sprung up at many places which comes as a entertainment hub for the fun loving public.

Architectural brilliance is at its best in Mamallapuram where one can see sculptures of various sizes and sea shore temples of the pallava period. Beaches and temples are most common here.

There are many parks being spruced up for the common public which has a big role in protecting the environment. There are many hotels at less cost and one can find cuisines around the world here for a nominal cost.
