For some reason, there are very few upscale, pure vegetarian places. Hamsa tries to fill the gap. The ambience is nice enough. The menu is predominantly north Indian with a few south Indian dishes thrown in. I found the south Indian items executed better. The service is good. The servings are huge - you have to share two or three ways. For the price, though, I wouldn't call it 'fine dining'.
