Stayed for two nights at Anuraag Villa on a recent trip to Jaipur and loved it. It’s so friendly and welcoming – I could have stayed for much longer. The staff are very accommodating and allowed my friend and I to check in early on the day we arrived and then check out late on the day we left. The garden is a beautiful and peaceful oasis – you would never guess that you are a couple of minutes away from traffic and busy streets.

The rooms are spacious and very clean. We only had one meal there during our stay – breakfast. It was delicious and made us want to try other things on the menu. You get free wifi - just ask at reception and they will give you a list of passwords.

Overall, this is a great little guesthouse and I would not hesitate to stay at the Anuraag Villa again.

I have stayed at Anuraag Villa twice now for business. This time we stayed for 12 days.
It is a calm oasis away from the chaos of central Jaipur. The rooms upstairs are large and spacious, with windows and a fairly large bathroom. There is always very hot water and bedding is always clean and fresh. The food is always safe for westerners to eat and meals can be made without chilli if required, which is welcome when you don't feel like something spicy every day. We were there for Holi which was a great experience as Om and his staff went out of their way to make all the guests feel welcome and involved in the celebrations. The garden is lovely to sit in and relax after a busy day, and the sight of peacocks daily is a wonderful experience no matter how many times you see them.
The staff do not expect tips and do not hassle you in any way, compared to many other hotels. They will also help you out in any way they can, again not expecting anything in return.
Om and his reception staff are very courteous and helpful and if they are not busy, they are happy to have a chat and offer any advice they can about Jaipur or India in general.
Thank you Om and team for a great stay. We will be seeing you next time!

A side note which is nothing negative about the hotel, is the rickshaw drivers who wait outside the hotel. Some in particular can be quite demanding and expect you to use them every day and then hassle you for not going with them. It can be a bit tiresome and frustrating when you just want to go somewhere without an argument and then get hassled because you used a different driver.
Although there are a couple of drivers who are often waiting there and are very reasonable. They do not hassle you and just take you where you want to go. But I can't say that for all of them.
Just a tip. In general a rickshaw to the bazaars should cost about 80-150rps depending on how hard you haggle and then shorter trips should be 50-70rps. And you should always agree on a price before you get into the rickshaw.

Anuraag villa sets in a quiet colony Which Near the train n bus station. and not far from the old city...I was in Jaipur for a day only to manage some personal issue, and unexpected good room that I would get in this range. I had a room Which Near the reception,, Which is big n clean, and the hot shower is the best I had during my trip, the water pressure is strong n hot,it was the best thing to do After a over night train journey.... the food was fine, and I believe this colony area is safe. Staff are helpful and nice, Nothing I would complain.... I don't usually leave comment After staying in a hotel.... But becoz of the good comments so I chose Anuraag Villa, so...It's good to give a comments... Even just a short one....will recommend to the others....

This hotel is clean, has an absolutely lovely, peaceful garden, an excellent clean restaurant with a large menu and great service and very friendly and helpful staff. It was a vacation from our vacation. The manager is a sweetheart. My room was very noisy the first night and he did everything to locate the source of the noise- advising staff not to bang doors and to refrain from moving furniture early in the morning. By the 3rd or 4th night the hotel was super quiet. He told us that he has implemented a time schedule to reduce the noise in the future and is already organizing upgrades on the doors to make them quieter to close. He always greeted us with a genuine smile even when we were complaining about something- and helped us feel more comfortable than any hotel in India. The kitchen staff were very gentle and nice. We had an excellent stay at this hotel and would recommend it to any traveller. We will miss the comfort of this hotel and coolness of the garden. We wish we could take Anurag Villa with us through the rest of our trip in India!

Room Tip: 3rd floor, but staff are very accommodating about the noise
