“A relative oasis in Jaipur”
Reviewed 18 March 2012

This was probably the best all-round value proposition we stayed at in India. Very helpful and eager to please staff. Nice and very handy restaurant in the garden - the garden being the real gem of the hotel. Free wifi was great - if a little temperamental. Complimentary pickup from the station was a really nice touch that puts other hotels we encountered to shame. Overall this is the best place within a price range up to double its room rates that we came across in the golden triangle.

Small things to work on:
Level of English spoken by the staff could be better (ie some had really none)
The puppet show in the garden in the evening was subject to a hard sell - this is the last thing the guests need after a day in town. We ended up eating indoors to avoid pressure pressure and the followed us inside to sell it to us ...

We stayed here for one night. Booked online direct and had prompt response to our emails. The room was clean and comfortable with a nice shower, marble floor and painted ceiling. Although the sheets were clean and fresh, the same could not be said about the duvet. Staff were very attentive and service in the garden restaurant was good. Food was 'OK'. AV is in a very quiet location but that means it is short auto ride from the city centre and main tourist sights.

We stayed 3 nights late February in the cheapest (semi deluxe) room when a/c was not required. Room was spacious with sufficient hanging space for clothes, adequate hot water plus multi channel tv, towels were changed every day. Hotel was in a quiet area with a peaceful garden a Rs60/70 tuk tuk ride from the centre. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and helpful, we had to leave at 5am to catch a train we received an unasked for wake up call asking if we wanted tea/coffee and a tuk tuk was waiting as promised at the normal price. We rate this as one of the best hotels of the 13 we stayed in in Rajasthan it was particularly nice not to be asked once for a tip, compared to the "how is service?" comments we continually got elsewhere. We would certainly stay here again if we returned to Jaipur.

Room Tip: The semi deluxe rooms (non a/c) are perfectly adequate in the cooler months if you do not mind not o...

The hotel is in a quiet area (except there is a construction starting nearby...), the rooms are clean and nicely decorated, the personnel is very nice, the food great and having breakfast in the garden is just so relaxing. Prices are very reasonable also.

I was on a personal trip to Jaipur along with my family. I visited this hotel after good reviews on the internet. The Hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. They make you feel as you're home. I would highly rate this hotel not because the property is exceptional but because the Hotel room is VERY clean and the Hotel people are very courteous and are of helpful mentality. The room service menu is good and priced very reasonably. They only serve Vegetarian food and Egg dishes. I had driven down to Jaipur from Delhi and the Hotel had parking space for my car. Around 3 cars can be parked inside the Hotel gate area. The rooms are quite and is around 3 kilometers from the Railway station.

Room Tip: I was on the First Floor and found the rooms overlooking the lawn quite good.
