I booked a trip to goa with few of my school childhood friends for 4 days, it was an excellent experience through out the tour of 4 days right from beginning. The tour was so planned from lodging-boarding, sight seeing & followed with lunch & dinner.
We were welcomed by Mr Naikawadi at Hotel, our driver Umesh was great & very fun guy, & the guide was so fantastic.
We would definitely recommend this company to our near & dear & also we will prefer for future because they know exactly what they are doing & they go extra miles to ensure the experience exactly what we expect for a reasonable price.

Myself and a Friend from the UK booked onto the golden triangle tour with Ranthambore tiger reserve for 7 days with Maharajah Trails, and would wholeheartedly recommend it and will book with them again for future India tours.
We booked through the tour operator’s website and were given a quote for 3, 4 and 5 star hotels, and we picked the 4 star option. We also wanted to experience the train from Jaipur to Dehli on the return instead of the car, and this was seamlessly arranged for us.
I was welcomed at the domestic terminal of the airport by our driver for the week, a highly professional gentleman named Raj, who spoke good English and for whom nothing was too much trouble. He'd even bought us a bigger car than we'd specified so that we'd be more comfortable. We then picked up my friend from the international terminal and were taken to the first hotel, Jivitesh, and given drinks on arrival. Raj made sure that we were comfortable and arranged to pick us up the following morning for the tour of Dehli, the rest of the afternoon and evening was ours to do with as we pleased, which was nice - depending on how far you've travelled depends on whether you're too tired to do anything or whether you want a chance to explore, which we did.
The tour in Dehli was good, but staying in April it was very hot, with the temperature hovering around 40C at midday (and we knew it would be on booking), so we opted to cut some of the tour short and make our way to Agra so that we could do the Agra fort in the afternoon when it would be slightly cooler. Later in the Holiday we were met by the founder of the business who arranged transport for us to complete the parts of the tour we missed out (the Qutub Minar) when we returned to Dehli at the end, as we had a few extra days before our flight departures - this was unexpected and most gratefully received - a true reflection of how much you are looked after on this tour.
We stayed overnight in the 4 points by Sheraton in Agra, and were given a room upgrade with a view of the Taj Mahal, and dinner for free. The following morning we woke early to see the Taj Mahal before the crowds and in the cool of the morning - it truly is a fantastic monument and it's easy to see why it's one of the 7 wonders of the modern world. We returned to the hotel for breakfast and then got back on the road to Ranthambore, taking a short (unplanned) detour to see Fatehpur Sikri at our request, which once again was no problem and seamlessly integrated into the plan at short notice by Raj.
The hotel at Ranthambore (Ranthambore Regency) was straight out of an Agatha Christie novel - old fashioned and luxurious, but equipped with all the modern amenities you'd expect. We arrived in time for a BBQ followed by dinner and drinks, and then to bed to be up early the following morning. On the first safari the tigers were nowhere to be seen, but there was plenty of other wildlife to be seen and bouncing around in the back of a jeep through the wildlife reserve was good fun. Other tourists were in abundance complete with zillion-dollar camera lenses that looked like they were part of the Hubble programme, so we surmised that Ranthambore was indeed one of the best places to capture wildlife on camera. The tigers were spotted on the second safari that afternoon and we stayed a final night in the Hotel before heading to Jaipur the following day with our driver.
Jaipur was a very pleasant city but also very hot in April, and we had the chance to explore around. Originally we'd been told we'd be staying at the Sarovar Portico, but previous guests had noted that the location wasn't great so we were located far closer to the city centre at the ITC fortune instead. The location of the new hotel was certainly better and we went along that evening to the planetarium in central park and watched the story of Mangalyaan, the Indian Mars orbiter, followed by a good dinner and some cocktails on a rooftop bar nearby the hotel.
The Jaipur tour guide was very knowledgeable and we had an elephant ride up the amber fort during the morning. The fort was very beautiful and well kept, and offered stunning views of Jaipur. During the afternoon we headed over to the pink city and the Hawa Mahal, had some tours around and purchased a few souvenirs from the bazaars and shops. The following day we had a look around the Albert Hall museum before saying goodbye to our driver, thanking him for the super hospitality we had received and catching the train back to Dehli.
All in all it was a fantastic trip, we were well looked after at every turn, particularly by Rajendra, our driver. Jitendra, the founder of Maharajah Trails met with us in person in Jaipur, and ensured that any problems we had were sorted without fuss or excuses, leaving us to enjoy our holiday to the maximum extent possible. In India, it can be a gamble as to how reliable tour operators can be – but I’m confident that I’ll be using Maharajah Trails again because they know exactly what they are doing, and really do go that extra mile to ensure that the experiences you get are exactly those that you want, all for a very reasonable price too!
