We booked for a two day trip from Jaipur to Agra. On my opinion travelling by taxi is only recommended if you don't have time. It is the fastest way and also more comfortable but you don't experience the country and you don't get to know their people. The taxi driver chooses where to sleep, where to eat, and repetely tries to take you to artisan shops, etc, in order to take commissions. Places are superexpensive (remember you are in India and a regular thali shoudn't cost you more than 150rupees in a restaurant). I also suggest you to clearly tell them where you wanna go, visit, etc before you start the trip.
Keeping in mind this considerations, the taxi driver was punctual and reaaaally good driver!!! He offered us water, when we started the trip and also a breakfast! We were two women and we felt very safe.
If you are aware of what it means to travel by taxi and you accept it, then I really recommend this company. Otherwise take trains and buses! It will be more fun and extremly cheap!
