You should spend an hour or two looking around this fort. Get the 500Rp entrance, not the 2500Rp entrance. $8 is totally worth it, $42 is definitely not. Skip the audio guide and tout unless you really want to get into the history of the place. We spent 1.5 hours here and it was enough.

City palce of jaipur is amazing place to visit. I like this place very much and recommend it to everyone. Some shops selling traditional textiles attracts me so i paid a visit to them and found some real good stuff and wonderful cashmere scarves. I bought a few for gifts and my family likes them a lot.... Thanks a ton.... Saved my lot of time ..qualities were excellent and prices were reasonable as well... Best part no pressure to buy anything as normally i faced at other market places... Pick a few if have time... Cheeerrrrsss

This was really the last Palace to visit on my tour and after the Amber Fort, which is a Palace, this was nothing special. Again a few courtyards and a compromised view of the Royal Family’s residence.

Yet again more people trying to make money via photos and souvenirs everywhere. Be careful of anyone in uniform as they will probably want money for photos. Some nice architecture here and there and a few photos to take. The portrait room and the main room featuring the the throne was underwhelming and no photos allowed either. The history is here and the guides impress with the detail but the area is not the spectacle I felt I would experience.

The city palace with a senior citizen ticket of 110 rupees(130 normal adult) is a great monument of historical value. There are several parts and each one is worth seeing. There are paintings and other materials shops too. One Astrologer sitting there for face and palm reading is just amazing. Many foreigners visit though fees are much higher for them. Just opposite Jantar mantar, this is very popular attraction.
