A good place to spend some time in a sunny afternoon when it is difficult to visit forts. They have real Egyptian mummy, which is the main attraction. You are not allowed to take pictures of mummy. They have a nice collection of ancient paintings, ornaments, utensil etc , Their crockery collection is really nice .There is a Puppet show by the local just outside the museum. It is worth taking pictures from the other side of the road of the museum . The flying pigeons in the background makes it look really nice and classy .

It is a nice museum located in heart of city. It is well connected and easily reachable. unfortunately excessive feeding for pigeon increased their population in great number and whole place smells bit odd.

Good place to check on history, it has all different items from worldwide and rajasthani pottery, brass, copper utensils, armory, dresses, coins, stamps, stone statues, really old books and scriptures, few miniature converted items, and at the end of tour the egyptian mummy. All items from very old Maharaja times to British rulers. Kathputli show is a free addon, just sit wait relax and enjoy. cheap ticket 40rs only. One time visit, I recommend for students studying 5th grade or above to spend 3-4 hrs here to see things live

A good place to visit, it is basically a museum of art and sculpture. Many things are attractive and amazing for us. They have real Egyptian mummy, which is the main attraction. You are not allowed to take pictures of mummy, rest you can take. Nice collection of ancient paintings, ornaments, war staff, utensils, mahabharata shield. It shows various items of rajasthan 's pottery, hand woven saree and musical instruments. Behind the museum, there is a garden where you can enjoy. Puppet show by the local people is also good. The outer view of the museum is always memorable because of the flying pigeons all around.
