Spent three nights here en route to Delhi and were delighted. Food was the best we had in India and the Heritage Room was fabulously OTT. Staff very helpful always. Here for Holi and they put on a small event safe and colourful. Pool was quite cold but still not high summer. Really nice stay.

This was our first visit to Jas Vilas and it was like staying with friends. The hotel is family run, clean, friendly and has a very relaxed atmosphere. The staff are friendly and very efficient. The rooms are set out over three floors, overlooking the pool/dining area. We requested a room on a higher level overlooking the pool and were given one on the top floor with the owners son as a neighbour. The room was spacious and clean, cleaned everyday. After an hectic day in Jaipur we would sit having a couple of cold Kingfishers on the balcony chilling out. The food is of an high standard (I'd recommend the buttered chicken) with enough choice at breakfast, cereals, fruit, eggs and the Indian breakfast taken by my partner. The hotel is about a 15-20 min walk or a 5 min tuk tuk ride into Jaipur. We used the services of the taxi from the hotel. If you are in need of a driver while in Jaipur, Sameer Ahmed is your man. It's just like driving around with a friend. Sameer is very polite, very safe and very reasonable priced. He also tells you up front that if he takes you shopping while touring, he will get a commission, then it's up to you. Sameer will take you where you want to go and will also make suggestions if you are unsure. He will also gives you tips about the best way of seeing the attraction. This is also a family run business who arranged a car to take us on to Dehli. sameerbittu69@yahoo.in +91 96367359240.

Room Tip: Rooms higher up overlooking the pool are quieter.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is an old family home converted to small colonial style hotel with only 14 rooms, and still family run. It really is so peaceful and tranquil and delightful to return to after a hectic day out in Jaipur, sitting by the pool or on the verandah overlooking the gardens it is so quiet and hard to believe the hustle and bustle of Jaipur is only few yards away. We would often return midday for light lunch and restful hour in the garden before returning to the fray. The rooms are spacious and clean, the staff really kind and helpful and the food is excellent and the best curries we have had so far, and if anything too much of it, and menu prices are exceptionally reasonable.

Room Tip: All rooms overlook garden and have verandah with seating. Most rooms are at back and well away from...

This boutique hotel is extremely clean and comfortable with a very nice atmosphere. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. There are a number of common areas (a garden, a pool, a living room and an atrium). It's nice to have some options for relaxing after a hectic day of sight seeing. The wifi is free and fast. There are really good TV channels. The owner and staff are very nice and go out of your way to ensure you have a nice stay. This hotel goes the extra mile, which is really nice to see these day.

Room Tip: There are garden and pool view rooms. The garden rooms are slightly noisier as they face the street...

We had a fantastic time here; loved the pool, balconies, food and exuberant colour! The beds were very comfortable, and the staff were helpful. It was quiet and we really enjoyed sitting on the balcony outside our room overlooking the pool and courtyard with a G and T before dinner. Good food, good value. Would definitely stay here again!
