“A WONDERFUL PLACE ! ! !”

Mr. Singh is the owner of Hotel Pearl Palace. Antiques and passionate man of refinement, M Singh comes, he opened a few months of the Pearl Palace Heritage Hotel not far from the original Pearl hotel.
Everything was designed with taste and subtlety. The building was specially designed to house the dreams of Mr. Singh. This magnificent structure is the casket of a jewel that we had to let you know. Indeed, refinement and luxury of workplace design are just incredible. This is not a hotel, it's a small museum wall sculptures made of splendid original made expressly for M Singh, doors and old-style spaces decorated with luxury and authenticity. Indeed, everything here is luxury, pleasure and beauty. A framework that makes you forget the turmoil and bustle of the city. The walls are hand painted by real artists, the bathrooms are worthy of a palace. The hotel provides each room alcove with a computer and internet connection. Opposite the bed a quiet but very nice and large flat screen TV with all international channels. Everything is perfectly clean and the service is discreet but effective. Nothing can disturb the moments of grace that can happen in this haven of peace. M Singh arranged here by passion and the traces of a magnificent past and authentic dot the scene. Mr. Singh is a true lover of antiques and decorations. All this becomes a waking dream especially when one becomes aware of the price: about 1 500 to 2 000 rupees, that is to say less than 50 €. Just amazing.
At this rate there, we never saw so great a part reflecting perfectly and with a delicate subtlety, true luxury Rajasthani.
We wanted to share with people this opportunity as work, passion, good taste and perseverance of Mr. Singh to pursue his dream worth to be honored. Please, do not miss this wonderful and you could visit in person to verify this information (see also the website). We assure you, you will not be disappointed.

I have stayed in all sorts of hotels in every continent in the world apart from Africa over the past 40 years ranging from Youth Hostels to 6 star properties. This place has been the most pleasantly unexpected find in all that time. Located in a gated housing community in Jaipur, it is far removed from the usual 5 star experience. However, I would rate my experience of this place as a 6 star or more. The rooms are large and beautifully designed in what can only be described as inspired whimsy. The service is personalized but nothing like the usual packaged 5 star service. The restaurant in the original Pearl Palace located close by is hands down the best Indian restaurant I have dined in. If there were similar places anywhere else in the world I could not imagine staying anywhere else. And, the most amazing thing is it is done at a price that is unbelievably cheap. I fully agree with JPAT1 that this is exactly what Indian tourism needs.

We stayed there for two nights as the hotel pearl palace was full. We were glad as it is much better. This hotel has a very nice design. Rooms are big, with a very pleasant bathroom. Each room has a computer with wifi that you can use for free. There is a free pick-up from the bus station and to the other hotel - the pearl palce which has a nice rooftop.
Staff was great too
We only paid 1,500 RS a night which is very good value for money

Great VALUE!! Don't get misled by the website..It does seem like a budget hotel..but the picture does not give it justice. I hesitated but I picked this hotel based from feedback from trip advisor & pictures taken by guests. And if you want more validity, national geographic mentioned them in their article. Go google it. This is a great charming hotel! I stayed at other 5star hotels in Jaipur, and this hotel gave the same 5-star experience for fraction of the cost. No exaggeration. Mr. Singh is an awesome host. If you want a homey feel, authentic, non-generic hotel. This is it.
Do try the rooftop resto at the sister hotel, Pearl Palace. Great food! Great Ambience! Great energy! And buy silver from that shop there,I thought I can get more value in the bazaar..but I did not. By then it was too late to go back there & shop. So learn from me & buy there if u want silver. And guess what, they have a return policy.

Also, don't forget to get "guide to aliens" made by mr singh himself. Its free, the staff doesn't immediately offer it. I had to ask. It gives an overview of Jaipur, quick facts, easy read with recommendation on tours, guides... Way better perspective from a local, so yeah I left my eyewitness travel book at d hotel.

After reading reviews on Trip Advisor, we decided to stay at the PPH (April 2012) . All I can say is that Mr Singh (who unfortunately was away at the time of our stay) has done his research and has created something that is exactly what India tourism needs. . If you are used to staying at the hotel chains such as Trident, Hilton, Sheraton etc and want a different experience, then do yourself a favour and give the PPH a go. The neighbourhood is safe and quiet and the sister hotel is within easy walking distance for good food, drinks etc. There is nothing further to add to the already numerous positive reviews.

Room Tip: All rooms are good and the neighbourhood is quiet
