The delightful owners of this lovely haveli deserve all the wonderful reviews. The property is absolutely delightful and the staff are all both welcoming and very helpful. Our room was huge and very comfortable and the common areas were an oasis of calm in the middle of this very busy city. There were many lovely touches, such as the in house musician that added to the special feel of this gorgeous property. Breakfast was really good and served in their pretty courtyard. We only stayed two nights and regretted having to move on - a week here would have been great!

We spent 2 great nights in Dera Mandawa. The owner and family are very welcoming and helpful. The room we stayed in was huge and beautifully done and there is a lovely courtyard. Breakfasts were delicious (especially the homemade porridge) as was the dinner that we had there. It's very eco-friendly - they have cows in the back who's dung they use to fuel the stove. The owner is more than happy to show you around and it's worth taking him up on the offer. This is truly a magical oasis within walking distance of the hustle and bustle of the markets.

We loved our 2 night stay at this rather special little hotel. The location is perfect for exploring the old town. It's very central but very quiet and calm: as soon as you walk through the gates into the central courtyard and lush garden the noise and dust of the city just seem to melt away. Our room was very clean, large, comfy and stylishly decorated. We really appreciated the fresh coffee being delivered to our room every morning. Breakfast was very good too. The porridge made from organic wheat grown on Mr Singh's farm excellent. Service was good, charming and very attentive. Highly recommended.

We only spent two nights here, unfortunately, the service, atmosphere, friendliness and rooms are without equal an we could easily have moved in for a week or so! We ate here on our first night in the courtyard with musical entertainment expertly explained by the host and really enjoyed the lovely atmosphere cocooned from the noise and bustle of the city just around the corner. A fantastic place to stay which combines the hustle and bustle of the city with a warm relaxing place to stay at the end of the day. Can't recommend it highly enough, thanks for a great stay. Within walking distance of the Hawa Mahal and the shops and bazarre.

Excellent situation. Central but very calm - in contrast to Jaipur! Mr Singh and all his staff were most helpful, solicitous and informative. Children enjoyed kite-flying from the roof.
Particularly enjoyed tea brought to our bedroom and delicious breakfasts. Very comfortable room.
