Everyone who visits Mumbai needs to eat at Trishna (unless you are vegetarian, or do not eat seafood). You have to try their garlic butter crab, which no one I know has ever failed to praise. Other menu items that are good are the calamari starters and the tandoori prawns. But there is no mistaking the fact that the star of the dinner is the crab, and that is what you should go there for. Beware that this restaurant is well-recommended in Lonely Planet, and thus sees a steady stream of tourist traffic. To avoid disappointment, reserve a table if you are visiting after 8 pm. If you come earlier, it is safe to visit without a reservation.
