we went on a weekday and were promptly informed that there would be no alcohol served. They only serve alcohol on Fri-Sun. So we decided to opt for some Virgin Mojitos and a Tropical slush which were very good. For starters we ordered the Chicken Wings and Fries.. The chicken wings were pretty dry and tough to chew so I am guessing they were frozen and just reheated for us.. which was the only downer of the evening.
For mains, the Mutton dhansak was good though the mutton was quite flavorless.... Again im guessing here that they pre- boiled the mutton and then just dunked it in the gravy because the meat didn't catch any of the yummy gravy.
The Meat on Top on the otherhand was spot on! Succulent slivers of lamb on a bed of spinach and mashed potatoes with a peppery sauce.
All - in all a very satisfying dinner!
