Its a very budget hotel in mumbai. Being it a budget hotel but it also has a clean and good rooms.
Its Conveniently located just half a km away from the APMC Market, this 3 storey building is designed beautifully with an atrium and an indoor patio that offers World-class services to its patrons. A total of 25 well-furnished rooms are available with ultra modern amenities. Guests can order for their meal through the 24hours room service facility. There is meeting rooms for official purposes and valet parking facility to park private vehicles of the guests.
The food was nice. I still remember the taste of the food in my mouth still now..

Stayed overnight. Situated in a bad area, traffic noise/congestion horrible. The hotel charges Rs 50 per minute for a national phone call when outside its Rs 4-5/minute. even local calls which should be minimal are heavily charged!!! The food in the restaurant is awful. Just fancy western names to fool people arriving from western countrires, they do not know how to make a simple chicken caesar salad..mixed some vegies together with big pieces of toast without even a basic salad dressing forget chicken!!! Food charges a rip off for substandard stuff !!! Reception awful, absolutely mannerless and rude..staff do not know basics of credit card payments!!! Would never stay next time ever ever again!!!

Was looking a hotel one late night in the area, and chanced upon Solitaire. Called them and haggled a bit which brought down the price and then went. Its bang on the main Sahar Road (which goes straight to international airport in 20-25 min), and just off the Western Express Highway (which goes straight to domestic airport in 10-15 min).

Room was smelling a little damp, so had to ask for a room freshener. Slightly random housekeeping staff, who barged in when i opened the door! otherwise a quiet place, and I'm sure other rooms would be better. Nice location.

Look, this hotel isn't the worst in the world but here are some facts :
- It looks out onto slums, not in the distance, but right outside the window.
- The building looks like a slum itself, but is okay inside.
- We paid in advance in cash on entry as requested. They then tried to make us pay again on leaving and tried to charge us for meals we had not eaten. It appears to be a regular scam
- The rooms are okay. Two single beds seem standard. Bathroom old-fashioned but okay.
- It was quite expensive for a Mumbai hotel.

We were laid over in Mumbai and the "hotel desk" at the airport conned us into staying here. There were no recognisable chain hotels on their list. But when the cab took us to the hotel we passed the Intercontinental and dozens of others.

Maybe we simply overpaid. If the price was budget then this hotel would be okay for one night in transit. But for $150 a night this was no good.
