“Great hotel, bad location”

I have stayed at Four Seasons Mumbai 5 times in the last 2 years.

It is a good business hotel with spacious, well-appointed rooms and courteous staff. Service at the hotel is impeccable - the stay take care of every little thing like placing a mouse pad below your laptop mouse, putting a Velcro strip around phone charger cord and folding unfolded clothes. The rooftop bar (AER) is an excellent but expensive place to grab a few drinks after a long day at work. Breakfast at Cafe Prato and dinner at San Qi are very good. The hotel allows guests to make use of shower facilities in the spa area after check out, which is useful before catching a late night flight.

My only complaint about the hotel is its poor location, smack in the middle of a slum!

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor room with sea view.

We are happy to know that you enjoyed your stay with us. While you get great sea views from most of the rooms, we are aware of the location challenges.

Worli is developing part of the city and the last five years have seen unprecedented growth is residential, leisure and corporate houses in this area. We are working with the local community as well as an NGO close by to offer apprenticeship programmes which not only allows them to learn on the job but also provides them skills required in any international hospitality chain. It is a small step but we hope to slowly develop the positive change that the underprivileged around the hotel deserve. First of all I have to say that I have stayed in several Four Seasons private as well for business, but the Four Seasons Mumbai is not a Four Seasons compared to others!!
It is maybe a good 4 star hotel with nice rooms and lousy bed's! Yes the bed is the worst!

The staff is not very friendly, except the concierge she is the only service oriented person in this hotel!
I made the booking because it was recommended as I stay normally at the Oberoi Hotel Mumbai, unfortunately the General Manager has changed in the meanwhile and I guess all went down!

The rooftop bar which is very nice, but the service the worst I ever have seen! arrogant
The pool is so dirty and no waiter at all (we had to wait 20 min until one showed up), just funny that the construction workers are sitting around there as well ant this is not so nice!

The coffee shop where the breakfast is served, nice selection for breakfast just unorganized waiters, do not go there for lunch as you have to wait again 30 min until someone will serve you!

My advise do not stay in this hotel!!

I travel all the time for business, and in many different countries (based in Germany). It has been a while that I have been treated with so much care and excellent service like here. Spotless rooms, all amenities in abundance, a beautiful chocolate cake on my table as it happened to be my birthday. The lounge on the rooftop has beautiful air.

Room Tip: Further up is probably nicer as the view to the surroundings is not particularly pleasant

the four seasons mumbai is not like a top end five star like the the four seasons hotels in the USA or europe . The gymn is nice but the entry to the hotel is not inspiring. I like the Nariman point hotels run by the Oberoi group much better on all parameters food ambience service etc. There is nothing wrong with the hotel but you expect a lot more from this brand

At Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai we constantly look at exceeding our guest's expectations. The local surroundings has improved tremendously in the last few years due the area's development plans. The hotel is terms of distance is conveniently located from both - North and South Mumbai giving guests access to the best of business and leisure available with us as well as in the nearby areas. It is now emerging as a central business district which already houses more than 350 offices within a 5 km radius from the hotel. In the years to come, our efforts combined with the local community will only better the surroundings.
