“Business In The Garb Of Religion”
Reviewed 19 July 2013

Faith ! The Magic That Moves Mountains Is The Driving Factor For The Popularity Of This Hindu Temple Dedicated To Lord Ganesha The Most Venerated Avatar Of God Worshipped By Hindus.
The Temple Is Visited By Not Less Than 50 Million Worshippers Every Year And As Per The Hindu Traditions They Spend Not Less Then 500 Million Rupees By Way Of Offerings In the Form Of Cash,Gold & Diamonds Which Becomes The Property Of the Care Takers Of The Temple Who Unfortunately Are Appointed By Our Politicians( Corrupt) And Accountability Towards The Worshippers Is Nil.
I Would Just Like To Point Out That Only Faith In The Great Ganesha Is What Brings These Millions Of Worshippers To The Doorsteps Of This Temple .
What I Mean Is The So Called Care Takers Are Hardly Bothered By The Difficulties Faced By The Worshippers While Visiting This Holy Place.Right From The Stall Owners (Offering Sellers),Various Official And Unofficial Touts Promising Immediate Darshan And Last But Not Least The So Called Security Personnel Both Police And Volunteers Behaving In The Most Reprehensible Manner While Dealing With The Worshippers Who Take All Of This In Their Stride.
Apart From The Above The Cleanliness Of This Abode Of God Is Bad And It Is Only Faith Which Makes Millions Of Worshippers Come Back To Visit Their Ganpati Bappa Morya.

“Hindu experience to the fullest”
Reviewed 16 July 2013

Wow! This was very intense. We purchased a fast pass to get through - I found out that people actually leave from the other side of Mumabi and walk from their overnight to reach the temple in the morning. You need to take off your shoes prior to going in. Leave it with a local stall where you can buy incense and flowers to offer. They will look after it otherwise it may get stolen.

“Blessed & Surreal!”
Reviewed 13 July 2013

The Shree Siddhivinayak temple is the abode of Lord Ganesha who is also known as 'vignaharta' i.e the person who eases/takes your troubles away!

This temple is one of the most frequently visited religious shrine and there is something very very magical and surreal about this temple that cant be described in words!

i have always come back feeling lighter/more invigorated/ at ease after every visit at this shrine. Its is a MUST DO trip when in Mumbai!
