Shree Siddhivinayak Ganpati Mandir is the most popular & significant places of worship of Shree Ganesh in India.Shree Siddhivinayak Temple of Mumbai located in Prabhadevi is counted amongst the most venerated temples of India. It is dedicated to Lord Ganesha, the Elephant God, and is situated in the Prabhadevi locality of the city. The credit for the construction of the temple goes to Vithu and Deubai Patil. Built in the year 1801, Shree Siddhivinayak Ganapati Mandir is visited by people belonging to almost all the sects of the society.
One of the narrow lanes that lead to the premises of the Shri Siddhivinayak Temple is known as the 'Phool Gali'. The street remains dotted with a large number of stalls, where one can find shopkeepers selling tulsi flower garlands, coconuts, sweets, etc - to be offered to the Lord. The temple witnesses exceptionally large rush of devotees, during Angaraki and Sankashti Chaturti. Whenever you happen to visit Mumbai, make sure to pay a visit to this amazing shrine.

like: since it is a religious place, so does not make sence to talk about the importance, so writing about the place and facilities.
this is one of the very organized temples around, the lines are properly made and evryone gets to see the "darshan" and spend some time there. the review gallery is nice where people can sit and pray

Well, there is no commanding a God, yet, it is your wish that is usually his wish here. A must visit, and you can instantly tell that just as you reach there. Plenty of people gather here day in and day out from all over the world. It has it's miraclous powers and there is no denying that. the place has a reputation of having wishes granted, and it is this repute that has people from all over gathering there. Tuesday is the day that is dedicated to this shrine and devotees will usually walk through the night, barefoot, to the shrine and back.

You need to have faith or patience to visit this place, there is no other way one would survive the waiting queue. Must visit for Mumbai visitors.
Actually this temple is one which does not need any recommendation or review its a landmark for mumbaikars. One can enjoy the visit better is accompanied by a devotee and gets flavor of the folklore linked to the temple. Your prayers will surely be answered if you go there with faith.

I have heard that visit this temple like a beggar - plead for anything and gracious God shall grant you the same. I didn't try but you may. I don't believe in bribing the God.
