Wherever you go in the world, being a Thai national, you always expect impeccable service because as a nation, Thailand is up there with the best in term of service delivery.
I went on a trip to Mumbai to meet my new employees and they bunked me at this hotel which is a stone's throw away from the McCann Mumbai office in Parel. I didn't know what to expect.
We (my girlfriend and I) were greeted by such warm Indian smiles that is familiar to those in Thailand. The attention to detail in all of the service offering and their knowledge about the locality is marvelous.
Amenities provided at the hotel expected of a 5 star premise. The only setback was wifi was not complimentary.
The Indian food at the local outlet was ultra expensive but nevertheless delicious. I think we paid about 6000+ rupees for two people for three dishes of tikkas & curries, plus a couple of nan breads, which is unheard of! But it went down well and I had a fantastic sleep.
Regarding sleep, I thought we had waken up too early because it was still dark only to find out that it was already 9pm. The curtains were so thick that you couldn't tell the difference between day or night. It was fantastic.
Some places you could feel people were greeting you by the book. But here, you can actually feel that it was from the heart.
Would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to travel to Mumbai. Strategically located right in the middle, so you can visit South Mumbai or go up to Bandra within half an hour either side of the city.
