Kofuku seems like an authentic Japaneese restaurant, with traditional Japaneese style seating also available, that give a good feel and a change from the usual restaurant seating.
The house special vegetarian sushi in soyabean skin is excellent, with good taste and full of flavour. The crunchy vegetarian sushi is again very well made. It wouldnt be wrong to say that this place has the best sushi in town.
For the maim course, we ordered noodles and mapo tofu, nither of which were very good. The noodles were quite spicy, and seemed more like being india rather than Japaneese. The tofu gravy again was quite spicy and the taste seemed very basic and standard...
Overall ambience is nice and service is good. They even have a "call button" on the table of you would like to call the waiter at any time.
Good for lunch or dinner with co-workers, family, friends, for couples, etc. Semi-private dining available.
