Essel world id definitely India's very own disneyland in Mumbai.
The island is beautiful and well maintained with lot of green cover inside.
Plnety of rides difficult to choose which one to try.
One really loses tack of time once inside the Essel world.
However on the areas requiring mangement attention is
Proper mangement of ferry service, they should fix up number of people which one ferry can take. This ferry ride becomes trouble some as no place to sit and have to struggle with mosquitoes during return trip in the evening.
Lot of attarcation which children normally enjoy are to be paid extra. This they can include in ticket.
Some rides waiting time is very high, probably due to less number of cars for that ride.
Pricing is slightly on the higher side.
The palce would be more enjoyable if these little areas can be improved.
Overall a nice experience for outing with family& freinds.

Wish we had more time in there. Hoped they had more wild rides though and the waterkingdom should be in the park so you only buy one ticket. But it fits people in every age. The boat trip sucks though ...

I went to Essel World from Nashik by Car. Itz about 182 kms from nashik if you go by ghodbander road passing by Mira-Bhayender road. Nice High ways until Gorai Road.
Most Imp: Can do One day Return from Nashik!

Entry fees in peak season lyk summer and week ends is 690 per person and 590 in off season

Excellent Rides there...Awesome place to visit with families. for couples and childrens as well as school trips.

I'm visiting this place since my School Days trips.

They have Introduced couple of New rides. Happening place !!

No out-side food is allowed except water. Nice-Co operative staff there (once in a while they are pain in [--]) , but rest is good!

Important: Strictly keeps eyes and strong supervision on your childrens, because they tend to attract towards some attractions and there are chances of getting lost in crowd although you can find them back with the help of staff but this may create Havoc!! So be careful.

Enjoy...Cheers!!

We had been to Esselworld / Waterkingdom on friday in May 2013.

First the boat ride was refreshing 30 mins. (Rs.50/- per head extra, parking at Gorai Ferry wharf Rs.60/- for full day).

Entry was Rs.890/- for each person including a 11 year old. Please ensure height measurement of your kids before you book your tickets online, anyone above 4ft 6 inches will be charged full rate. A few rides were really good, Zyclone, Top Spin & Aqua Dive - the many others were just wheeling around......mela types.

The ICE SKATING RINK is a great place to chill out - practically. At 4 degree C its cold, but you wont feel the chill. Learning to balance on a very slippery surface is fun, and you will get the hang of it after a few falls....

Now about the food - Good and very very available all around the place, but pricey as expected in a specialized park. You wont go hungry for sure!! Yo get Pizza, Noodles, Tandoori and what not... everything...

Security and quality of rides is Top Class. Staff is everywhere and very helpful.

Next we go to Water kingdom - now this place is really paisa wasool. Lots of fun rides, good clean water, and some really steep drops on the slides.

Next time maybe, just maybe we will go for the Waterkingdom only. But then thats just me thinking....

Good day picnic to beat the summer heat...
