I Absolutely loved staying at West End Hotel Mumbai. The rooms are beautiful , clean and comfortable. The staff is wonderful and friendly. the food is amazing. So much better than the Taj Tower. I will only stay in the West End Hotel Mumbai whenever I return to Mumbai. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

My Business trip was amazing hopefully all my clients really enjoyed the stay at this Hotel. First of all the the most important thing which I really liked is the location which is near to Gateway of India. Amazing suites with daily sanitation and temperature checkups.

Stayed from 15-18 feb.overpriced hotel with lacking of basic facilities. No tea maker in room and you have to order for tea wort rs 140 like a 5 star hotel and this hotel does not deserve any star.outer surrounding is also not good.Breakfast choices are very limited.Rooms are very expensive and better options available in this tarrif. Not recommended.

West End Hotel has continued to retain the excellent service it started with many years ago. Yes, the property is old and the renovations taking place over the past couple of years drove many clients to different hotels. But I recommend giving this hotel a chance. They are located centrally on Marine Lines, close to many landmarks and major sights for tourists. The room rates are ridiculously reasonable (especially if you consider the personalized attendant service) and the in-house restaurant offers wonderful food, even customizing to suit your needs/food restrictions.
I stayed at this hotel for over a month with my family in 2011 and did so again now in 2020 for the very same reason. Thanks to Mr. Arjun Ramani, Mr. Rahul Dolas, our personal attendants, Sandesh Jadhav, Bharat Patil, Jayant, Chandrakant, the various other helpers, the amazing restaurant managers Mr. Raghavan, Mr. Tanaji and staff, and the wonderful receptionists who always helped us out when needed.

Liked · Staff were generally helpful, friendly and accommodating. Everything worked in the hotel. Shower and AC were good, beds were comfortable and the room clean. Room service was quick and efficient. Check in and check out went smoothly.
Disliked · We booked the family suite based on the pictures on booking.com. However, there was a DRASTIC difference between the room in the pictures and the room we were actually given. (Pictures attached for reference) We did not appreciate this, and while everything in the room was functional and worked properly, (shower and AC were good, beds were comfortable and the room was clean) we felt mislead. The room we got was actually quite old and dated and looked ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like the one in the pictures. When we asked the reception about this, what they told us was that there are 2 family suites, and one was refurbished (the one in the booking.com photos) while the other was not, and that the refurbished room was already booked. They made an effort to offer us another 2-bed room but it was not sufficient for our group in terms of bed / sleeping arrangements so we had to make due.
We purchased 5 cans of craft beer from a mall to take back home with and stored them in the fridge in the room during our stay. However on the 3rd day, one can was stolen from the fridge during the day while we were out. We weren't about to go to the police over a can of beer, however this was utterly disappointing and what was most troubling was no one took any responsibility for this or made any sort of effort to either replace the beer can or reduce the cost, despite us complaining to the front desk as soon as we realized, as well as prior to leaving. (This was a relatively expensive German craft beer and could not be purchased from any area nearby). Stealing, however small an item, is wrong on all levels and we were completely disappointed by this.
We had to be sure to either lock up every little thing we had, or carry things with us on our person whenever we left the room after this happened as we did not have the confidence or trust to leave things around the room.
