“see it, hear it and feel it Mumbai homestay”
Reviewed 11 March 2012

Good points
1. it's overall very good and exceptional experience in Mumbai, India.
2. one of the best homestays families we ever met in our past visits to some countries.
3. its kind host-guy guided us very perfect way to have great feel of the city, its working and culture there.
4. all the assistance was very honest with transparency.
5. homestay is just real feel of home away from our home with homely cooked food and very warmly and friendly family members. They are highly qualified, knowledgeable, modern and respect and value their own culture and traditions.
6. Me as Japanese it was great holidays so i will recommend this homestay and their tourism services to my other Japanese people who are willing to visit Mumbai or anywhere in India and i think it should be equally good for any other tourist from all over the world.

Check points

-talk through Skype or phone before you go there to check it's suitable for you. so you can't miss your opportunity
-ask which house you will stay cos it has two houses. and they are different.

Being a young women and live in India for first time seems maybe difficult. However choosing this accomodation has been very good for me and my friend. This family is very welcoming, nice and sweet, adding very helpful. I came to India to do a trainee and they also help me to find a firm wher to do it (I had some bad experience with the first one choose from France..).
From this family you're able to discover indian culture such as the food but also the rituals...
As the previous comment, I confirm that the area around the house is very calm and we can also consider it as safe. You can go to the garden to have a nice walk, go to the swimingpool, the theater, the train station is crowded but only at the busiest time. On the way of the train station you'll also see all shops and market selling fruit, vegetables, juices, shoes, clothes...
just one word to say : I hope you'll have a nice stay as mine was overthere!!!

During my holiday in Mumbai I stayed with the Chaudhari family in their lovely condo. These folks are sincere and warm, very friendly without being overthetop. The food is mom's home cooking, including fresh off the griddle bread at each meal. Guest gets solo bedroom; bathroom facilities are shared with the family of 4. The condo is located a short walk from the train into other parts of the city. The neighborhood, Muland, has a shopping street with fruit stands, food shops, sari shops, etc. A very clean park is within walking distance.

i didn't bring my pet with me, so i didn't enquire if the building was dogs okay. don't think that many folks take their pets on such a long journey.

Room Tip: it's Hobson's choice....one guest room, others are occupied by family.
