“Great Sunday brunch, but come LATE!”
Reviewed 4 March 2012

We highly recommend the Sunday brunch here when it comes to food, but Indians wake up late for those. We were the 1st guests at 12:30, and only by around 2pm peopls started trickling in. At 3pm, when we left, it was still quite empty. Still, fun to do before your flight, for example.

“Stylish”
Reviewed 3 March 2012

The main attraction for this place is the design. The main room is arranged into something which resembles sci fi pods tired around the stage. Unfortunately the night we went the acts were not very popular so it was quite quiet. The food was excellent, as were the cocktails though it is is quite pricey.

Warning - cab drivers may not know where it is but as you will find in India, drivers hate to admit they do not know directions, which resulted in us being taken to various malls and driven around in circles. Eventually we walked along N M Joshi Marg just after the junction above Lower Parel station. You will need to pay close attention to the banners on the left hand side at you will see a faded banner for Mathuradas compound. Snake through the roads and you will eventually come to the club on the left.

This bar would be somewhere memorable anywhere in the world, I would like to see it on a busier night.

“Awesome Decor and Music ...”
Reviewed 4 February 2012

I went to blue frog few weeks ago to celebrate an occasion with mah husband and few friends. The first thing that caught my mind is the interior... fabulous!! They play best of the foot tapping music, food is also decent but a little high as compared to..others. One can also get free entry if you go before 9 00 p.m. :)

“Overpriced but differentiated from other pubs/bars/clubs”
Reviewed 2 February 2012

Have been here for 3 "concerts" in the last 6 months or so. The crowd is pretty good (perhaps the best Bombay can manage) but drinks are obnoxiously over-priced. Try having large whiskey or any decent cocktail and you'll feel completely ripped off. They do manage to bring together decent bands/acts from all over the world and that makes the experience unique in some ways. Post 1 pm or so, it becomes like any other club. People are drunk, puking and dancing out of their minds.
Verdict: Unique - Yes. But can do better!

“Nice but overpriced”
Reviewed 26 January 2012

Good place to hang out if the band is good.
Skipt their 'exquisite' cocktails, which are overpriced, and really nothing to talk about-an infusion of kaffir lime leaves isn't worth the price tags they come with...
The "platters" are really skimpy at the price.
The halibut was awesome though, and definitely worth the price. Pick a day when there's a GOOD band playing, if not, spend your money at a cheaper eatery, like Five at Santacruz, that does similar fare within a way better budget:)
