Dn't go for this hotel. Terrible in one word. Dn't expect any support and humble behavior from staff. water supplies is even worst.
Smelly rooms. Torn decoration in deluxe room. Only thing this hotel provide that it is near to kali temple.

Room tip: Dn't choose this hotel.

this is the worst hotel in Simla. Poor maintenance, Poor service, Manager is a cheat,Rooms are terrible. Bathrooms are filthy and odorous, no running water supply. do not ever think to go. regarding location, yes it is near to simla kalibari but no transportation available and you have to walk at least 15 to 20 minutes to get any mode of transport. I had been there and staying in this hotel is a terrible experience. considering all the above points the rooms both delux and economy are not even worth of Rs. 200/- while they have charged Rs. 1000/- if you want book in advance and from distant place. Beware, take it from me. You will repent if you stay even one night in this hotel.

Room tip: There are other hotels in that locality like hotel sheel and lots of other hotels, room rent are almost same, but far better than this hotel. I have inspected those hotels but alas I could not stay in one of those hotels because I have booked in advance and literally cheated.

Well, after searching several hotels for good and cheap stay, we found this with help of guy following us from railway station ;) . Four story high, top floor has a gate which opens towards to The Mall / The Ridge. We stayed on the top floor. But that door closed at 10:30 pm. so you have to come down and again go upstairs from the reception. Negotiable Tariff. Clean bed sheet along with comforters. Hotel needs maintenance. Else value for money. Takes 10-12 minutes to reach Ridge.

Room tip: Stay at top floor to get easy way for The Mall. Do negotiate tariff in hotels. Tea comes in good quantity, So we tried 2 cups divided into 3.

One of the main advantages of this hotel is its location. It is very close to the mall and the kali temple. But due to some odd reason cars cannot go up to the hotel so be prepared to carry your luggage uphill for sometime to reach the hotel. The rooms are average and the views from the rooms is ok.The food is a bit spicy ,but the staff is helpful and good. But the hotel is good value for money.

One of the best advantages of the hotel is its location. Its very close to the mall and the kali temple. The hotel rooms are also good and and service is prompt. The food is also good .But if you do not like spicy food then probably you should avoid the food. Another disadvantage is that due to some restrictions cars cannot go up to the hotel gate.So be prepared to drag your luggage along a slope while reaching the hotel.(But coolies are available in plenty for this). But its nearness to the mall, temple and service makes up for these disadvantages.
