We went to Delhi just a few days back. We means me, my wife and our 12 year old son. Chose this place just because of its location and we were not disappointed. This hotel is located just at Connaught Place, right within the Connaught Circle. Simply amazing. We faced some problems during the check-in process, which were unexpected from a star-rated hotel. As a whole, the hotel's reception/front desk staffs' behaviour and attitude are sore points and that's why I'm giving four stars instead of five, particularly the male staffs and more particularly who stay in charge of reception after late evening hours. The hotel management should look into the matter immediately unless they want to lose some customers. Housekeeping staffs are excellent. People like Bikesh should be considered as assets by any hotel. Breakfast spread was great. All staffs were cordial and helpful. Twinkle was so caring that we forgot that we were in a hotel. Taste of food could improve though. Sambar was unnecessarily spicy, though Dosas were good. And Parathas (various kinds were available) could have been better. Regarding eggs, the management should change the egg supplier. Yolks were so pale that it was a challenge to differentiate the yolk from the egg white. But, again, the behaviour of the staffs were so warm that breakfast was altogether a great experience. I have mentioned the previous points so that they could improve on these areas. We all had a grand time there. Service was great and location was unmatchable. Metro was one minute walk and all modes of communications were very nearby. Room was nice. And you may roam about Connaught Place till late hours safely, just as we did, as you are staying right there. Only if the front-desk folks were trained to behave more cordially instead of their habitual nonchalance, it could have been a 10/10 experience.
