“very good experience”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 December 2012

one of the attractions of New Delhi on Raisina Hills. we visited this place one morning. All the area of Rajpath to Rashtrapati bhawan is very interesting . we were able to reach this place take photograph and enjoy time nearby . The Mughal gardens behind the Rashtrapati Bhavan are very beautiful but they are open to public only in the month of Feb. Its one of the best monuments in India made by the British. The national rail musuem is also very nearby.

5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 November 2012

Since i born and brought up in Delhi so i got several chances to visit there on school trip. It is wonderful and very well managed property as first person of India resides there. if you are going there must visit Moughal Garden and see amazing quality of roses.

“Nice Buidlings And Thats It”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 November 2012

There is no doubt that this is an impressive set of buildings but you can really only see the exterior. The security is high and tense.

It is interesting since you will be in the area to see the Arch and Gateway but other than driving around this area there is not much to see of the Palace. Your guide will most likely have some information about current politics and information of what buildings house what parts of the government as you drive by.

“Grand architecture with unfortunately unfriendly guards”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 November 2012

I only saw the palace from outside since it was guarded with many military troops, however, I can tell that it is a grand architecture that really is suitable to be utilized as the President palace. One point that stole my attention was the beautifully fabricated front gate. There are many governmental buildings which have similar architectural styles along Rajpath in front of this palace.

The security guards seemed not so friendly to visitors as they always tried to expel visitors from even taking one single photograph outside the front gate and also along the Rajpath. But, it is also understandable since the area is one vital section that needs heavy security.

All in all, still worth a short visit.
