“Nice to look at.”
Reviewed 22 February 2012

The palace is beautiful and you can see it from several different vantage points. It is not a place that one can visit nor get very close to so you must admire from afar. It is worth seeing if you are in the area.

“Marvellous Outlook..”
Reviewed 22 February 2012

The place is teaming with architectural beauty, and it feels so secure as there are so many gurards. The Mugual gardens are really beautiful, with the large spreaded area and the various flora and fauna....

“Must visit!”
Reviewed 19 February 2012

Beautiful landscape and architecture that is home to the Rashtra (Nation) Pati (senior most officer) or President. Must visit if you are in Delhi. Visitors, please check the entry timings to avoid disappointment. Well maintained and gives a strong view of Indian polity!

“Imposing Presidential residence”
Reviewed 11 February 2012

Designed by the British architect Lutyens , this is an imposing building which houses the Preisdent of India. Originally planned as the residence of the British Viceroy when the Raj decided to shift their capital from Kolkata to Delhi , this is an incredible example of British arichitecture with some Indian designs incorporated into it.
Although entry into it is not permitted, photo opportunities exist in front of the huge intimitading gate of the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

“Government has money to waste, should be spent on the people”
Reviewed 8 February 2012

Dirty all over only important places are clean. Government offical were very unfriendly - army personal, police. In order to attract tourists they should be friendly, welcoming and polite. Not these people. In SA when we see them we are always helpful and try to assist in anyway - this I mean in our private capicity.
