“A must see, but not very special”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 February 2012

This sight is a must see when in Delhi, but honestly it's not a very special experience. It's just a big gate with tons of people wanting to sell useless souvenirs. It's especially nice to see the surroundings and the gate all laid out from the top of the road.

“Watch out!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 February 2012

Nice monument and worth a picture but watch out..before you know it someone will pin a little Indian flag on you and then ask you to donate to this cause or that. I was ok about donating but I just prefer not to be tricked into being given a "gift" and then tapped for cash. People everywhere..I am tall and fair haired and was asked to pose for many family photos..ha ha

“Nice place to spend time”

This is a historical monument in Delhi, nice crowd and free space to play. The only thing that bothers is the photographers.

“Gate as gate”

Nothing great about it. There are more interesting places to see in the city. Tried to click some interesting pictures but it they didn't come out well.

“must see”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 February 2012

this is where families and friends come to get away from obligations of daily life. there is a mellow to fun mood in the air but all in all nothing much that is exciting, but if you want to see modern Indians enjoying life, this is a fastrack way to see it.
