“Amazing bazar”
Reviewed 6 May 2012

It is clean, not overcrowded. I went to the one by INA station. You need to pay 20Rs for the ticket but it is worth it. Prices are reasonable; however you still need to haggle. There is one shop with fixed prices.

“Cultural Market”
Reviewed 24 April 2012

What a lovely place to visit, where craftsmen and women from all over India are able to show off their regional wares. Some bargaining takes place but you will be overwhelmed by the variety of wares on show, from shawls to carpets and everything in between. Great to visit in the evening when it is a little cooler.

“United Colors of Be........ Ooops India !”
Reviewed 23 April 2012

When this place opened a couple of years ago, it used to compete with the annual trade fair, the Surajkund Crafts Mela and the State Emporiums in CP as a place to get traditional fare at reasonable prices. It still does, but things have gotten more gimmicky and expensive over the years and the last i visited it has become a dating spot.

I would definitely recommend it if you are from abroad or upstate, and in Delhi for a short trip, or want to shop some traditional crafts just before your flight.

Apart from shopping the place has eateries from the various states. Cant recommend any, as they are quite standard then being authentic.

Tis:
1. There are 2 dilli haats in delhi, one in INA market near AIIMS (south delhi) and the other in Pitam Pura (north delhi), INA branch is a 10 min walk from INA metro Station.
2. Please get there before sunset as it can get real busy.
3. Do bargain before you commit to a purchase and carry cash (Didnt remember seeing an ATM or shops accepting credit cards).
4. Entry fee is Rs 20 (adult) and 10 (kids)

very nice place, they sell a lot of indian staff. You always negotiate with them, because the first price are expensive.

“Great shopping in New Delhi”
Reviewed 20 April 2012

We totally enjoyed the variety of locally created items at this ethnic market. We spent several hours browsing and haggling. The prices were good (once negotiated) and the selection broad.
