It is what Delhi is all about, yes it probably isn't the cheapest, or the most authentic but it is likely to be one of the reasons you are in Delhi if you are a tourist, get a cycle rickshaw, and enjoy the commotion around you.

“Good but very different”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 July 2012

Be prepared for a very different picture of India (Delhi) – it was a real shock to the system and took some getting used to but it was definitely worth seeing and walking around. We found an awesome Tibetan market at which we could get a break from having to bargain when we bought stuff (it was nice just to buy for the displayed price for the first time on our trip).

“Went to check out market place!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 July 2012

It was nice and lively and buzzing with activity. There were thousands of small shops/big shops. All selling a variety of traditional apparel . People are friendly and ready to help.
I particularly diskled the narrow lanes and got quite lost out there.

“Real India!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 July 2012

This is a very busy, crowded place. Beware of pickpockets and remember that Indian traffic is like playing Tetris, and you should be OK!
If you want to see the 'real India' then you must come here. I visited a Sikh Temple, which was a great honour. I also saw volunteers making and serving food for anyone who needs or wants it
