If you are looking for best luxury hotel available in Dehradun then it is one of those hotels, a 4 star property well managed, centrally located. Staff is good and trained, rooms are clean and equipped. Food is good. A perfect place to stay and enjoy your Dehradun trip.

In a big room, the vent of the AC is only at the entrance near the closet. One would die as the AC wasn't enough for the size of the room.
The bed made a lot of noise and separate from between and the bed back too.
Average place as per the pricing.

We stayed at the Madhuban Hotel for 3 horrible nights. Although the room was clean, the smell of cigarettes was unbearable! There are no windows at the rooms and guests are allowed to smoke in the room leaving their door open to the hall. The hotel was also extremely noisy through all nights and it did not help that we called the front desk and asked them to take care of the problem. To top our bad experience at the hotel we got a bill of 3250 rs for washing half a machine of clothes! what would have cost us 400 rs at the most anywhere else (we asked the front desk about a laundry outside the hotel but were told that there was no such place in the area. We realized that it would cost us double or triple the cost at the hotel but were shocked to receive almost 10 times the cost).

Room Tip: We got the room at the end of the hall and still the noise at the hotel was unbearable.

The hotel is decent, clean, and well priced. It is in a quiet street in a residential neighborhood. The area feels safe, and it is walking distance from two markets with shops and restaurants. It is quite far away from any of the tourist spots in Delhi, so a taxi or tuk-tuk is needed to go anywhere. My main problem with the hotel was that they are not well equipped for dealing with foreign tourists, their English is poor, no maps of the area available, they do not know anything about tourist activities, tours or even where to hire a driver for the day.
They celebrate weddings here, so stay away from the 2nd floor rooms closer to the lobby. The noise from the music and wedding guests talking very loud until very late will keep you up all night.
So, if you are looking for a clean place that is reasonably priced, you know your way around Delhi, and do not require the front desk to provide any concierge services, or any communication at all, this is a good place. However, if you are a foreign tourist, better to find another place.

This a hotel inside a residential area. Reasonably priced and suitable for short stay business or personal. The complimentary breakfast & dinner with MAP plan is tasty & satisfying. Restaurant is also nice n open. Rooms are small but facilities are good & clean. Cons: Response time for service call is high, sometime reception is unmanned, getting a cab from outside is sometimes time consuming, wifi is not that fast.
