I booked this hotel based on the very good reviews on Tripadvisor. It is clean with no major problems with mozzies, but do take a plug in repellant to be on the safe side. It is in a quiet area, but it is in a back alley so can on first sight seem a little dingy. The air condition worked well. The curtains in the room were on the thin side so remember to keep those eye patches from the flight into Delhi. Although not in an area that is too loud and busy, as the hotel has marble walls and floors, all movement outside the room is heard, so also keep the ear plugs from the aircraft. We booked a taxi pick up via the hotel prior to arrival, which was a good idea, and a good 'in at the deep end' experience of the Delhi traffic. For Westerners wanting to take a rest from the spicy Indian food there is a Macdonalds, Pizza Hut and KFC near by! The breakfast is not worth bothering with to be honest, a choice of toast, butter, jam and some Indian dishes! Overall for a few days in Delhi for those on a BUDGET it is fine. The hotel arranged a city tour for a day. The staff were friendly and keen to help where possible. There is NOT a roof terrace. If staying for longer and perhaps able to splash out I would recommend a 4 star hotel should be booked, but for £45 per night for a deluxe room one can't complain.
