“Home away from home .. the most beautiful experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 August 2012

so this is the first time Ive stayed at a b&b and not a five star hotel .. and this place is really amazing ... so the owner and the manager are so nice and helpful and so is the staff here. i spent a month and half here and i would definitely recommend this place to friends and family visiting delhi. its very clean and superior quality at half the price that ive usually paid for this level of service. this is hospitality at its best and the overall experience has been splendid. the food here is amazing too. chef martha does a really good job. and the rest of the staff is very caring and are ready to run around for the guests at a drop of a hat. owner and manager are both available at all times at any hour of the day to answer any queries or help with anyone looking to discover delhi and surrounding areas. so basically id highly recommend this to anybody coming into delhi and looking to live in a home away from home :)

Room Tip: all rooms are pretty much the same. some bigger to cater to families.

Saket B&B is one of the coolest places to stay in Delhi. During my trip to Delhi I decided to stay at Saket B&B and I have to say, I would only stay there from now on. The rooms are amazing and spacious and really well done up. The staff was very helpful and the service was prompt. Felt like home away from home. The breakfast spread was absolutely delectable. Located in one of the prime spots in Delhi. I would highly recommend it to people on their trips to Delhi.

I stayed at this place during a recent trip to Delhi. At this price, Saket B&B is by far the best I've tried so far. The room I had was spacious and well-lighted. The bathroom was clean and reasonable size with a separate shower area, so no water spilling everywhere. The towels were crisp and white. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the simple but tasty dishes served at lunch/dinner. The only complaints I have is that the pillows were hard and the set-top box kept rebooting every now and then. Overall, I really liked the place.

Hello!
Thanks for the feedback and positive review.

Wish you'd let us know regarding the set top box while here, we would have given you another one immediately. We've had the malfunctioning decoder changed in the last 24 hours since you mentioned, and the TV is working fine now. Apologies if you didn't have proper reception at the time.

The pillows we use are all branded Recron pillows with international certification. They are neither too soft, nor too hard. We try and stay away from down pillows (some people have allergies), and cotton pillows that may disintegrate over time. We've also stocked extra pillows in each room now so that you can pile them up for that sink-in feeling :)

My first stay at Saket B&B and I have been raving to everyone about this place! The pad is in a primo location--close to major cultural sites, good eats, traditional markets, PVR cinemas, and a major shopping mall complex. The surrounding Saket hood is pretty residential, so even while you're in the midst of all the ruckus of city life, the lodgings are nicely tucked away on the upper three levels of a stately Delhi brownstone building. There are airy balconies that encircle each level with lovely potted plants and mango trees almost reaching in. The private and shared public rooms are equally inviting with big windows and lots of natural light. The rooms are very sleek with modern furnishings and hip Indian pop art. Of course, some of my favorite perks when returning after a packed day of sightseeing in 48 degrees celsius weather was the blessed air conditioning and the wifi connection!
Everyone was really friendly and the staff was so helpful. Anand helped us arrange tours of Delhi and the 6 hour trek to the Taj Mahal. We ended up going with the "Delhi Magic" tour service and I highly recommend them to those first time travelers. The guides are extremely knowledgeable, engaging in deep often tangential (our fault) discussions about culture, politics, and religion. They really brought the historical character of the city to life and were flexible with the tour stops, really tailoring it to our interests. Traipsing around town nomming on street food, I was brutally laid out for a few days with traveler's sickness. It happens. Anand and his staff honestly were complete lifesavers. They helped us get to the pharmacy, recommended some homeopathic remedies (which honestly did the trick!), and checked in on me periodically with juices and chicken noodle soup : ) The breakfast spreads were pretty amazing with masala omelets, toast, tropical fruits, juices, cereals, and so forth. Really yummy!
Just incredibly grateful to these guys for their real down home hospitality. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I've been to Saket B&B twice now (almost two years apart) and have found both times to be a great experience! Anand Puri and the staff went out of their way to ensure comfort from the moment of arrival until leaving. The breakfast spread was amazing and welcoming, and I was able to partake in it even though I arrived around noon one day. Saket's design is comfortably cool in the summer and enjoyable in the winter (I was there in July and January) and is quiet amidst the bustle of Delhi. The location is great too! It's near some of the biggest malls and cinema and not far from some of Delhi's amazing historical sites (e.g., Qutb Minar). I've stayed at a variety of places both within Delhi and throughout India, and Saket has consistently been my favorite.
