When we visited, the lobby was undergoing renovations. What was surprising was that there were no screen or partitioning done to shield the noise and construction activities. The Tea Lounge is also in need of maintenance, the chair armrests are faded, the menu pages coming off, etc.
We wanted a high tea but surprisingly it was not in the menu, the staff were not very helpful and we have to ask several times to get service.
The beverages were above par and snacks on offer were okay.
The live music in the evening would have been relaxing if the construction noise would not have intruded.
Given that it's a Taj facility and the price, I was expecting a better ambiance and service.
