We came to this hotel after a long train journey and to be fair it is in a good location, but that was the ONLY good point!
The room had damp everywhere, paint falling off the ceiling onto the bed, the door panel fell out leaving our room able to break into, the tv didnt work, the aircon leaked water everywhere, the bed was covered in stains (some looked like blood).
Despite all this they tried to charge us 1000 rupees which we said no way to and haggled it to 600 just because we were too tired to go somewhere else.
They told us we had our own outside toilet/shower in a row of a few others but when we came back from dinner it was locked and the only other toilet had human feces all over the floor and toilet so we had to go out and use a cafe toilet because no staff were anywhere to be found!!
The next morning we still hadnt been able to wash, go to the toilet etc so asked to see the manager for a refund which took 3 hours for him to arrive, causing my partner and I to become more and more agitated. When he finally arrived he argued that the hotel was up to standard, we showed him the toilet and our room and asked him if he would stay there and he admitted he would not. After much arguing we managed to get him to give us 300 rupees back.. not enough but we were too tired after an awful uncomfortable nights sleep.
Please do not stay in this place, its unhygenic, dangerous and bad service!! Hopefully one day it will be restored..
