We are at The Royal Spice Indian restaurant during a trip to Kandy. The food was fantastic and very authentic. In addition, the waiting staff were very helpful, attentive yet unobtrusive and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal!

I'm not impressed with the quality of food in Sri Lanka in general but this place was really great, I loved chicken tikka and saag paneer, would definitely recommend!

Chose this hotel bcos it had an indian restaurant. Got decent veg food. Service could improve a little in terms of how quickly they get the food once ordered otherwise no complaints. Reasonably priced.

We ate at this restaurant twice, and the food was fenomenal both times. It is well worth a visit even if you don't stay at the hotel (Earl's Regency). If you do stay at the hotel full board, ditch the buffeet at least once to try this!

If you decide to go, you should try the cheese nan. They make the nan's in a tandoori oven giving them the charachteristic bubbles and delicious charing.

We tried most of the menu, with dishes for about 1000 LKR. I would recommend the chicken tikka. There is also a lambchop dish priced at 3000 LKR. You get five "chops" from a rack of lamb, which is perfectly spiced, even though not three times as good as the rest of the dishes.

The restaurant has a great ambiance, and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Best Indian I ever had, and probably the best food I had in Sri Lanka.

The service here was excellent and the ambience perfect. However the food was of very poor quality - mostly bland, unappetising with one plate inedible. Even the mint chutney did not taste of anything. The Supervisors were very good and tried hard to make amends. We left most of our dishes.
