Having spent two weeks in Sri Lanka with our Adult Son who is a Chef and ate at various establishments from both ends of the spectrum. This was the most disappointing of all our evening meals. The Staff were rude and unfriendly. We arrived a little late, not knowing that food started at 7.30pm and really they shouldn't have let us in. As the food had been sitting out, it was taken away and microwaved, however they made us wait a further 10 minutes before we could serve ourselves so it had gone cold again. The food was bland and lacking seasoning and authenticity. There were 4 of us and several dishes we not available to all our party. When requested that they refill them, there appeared to be a language barrier! We left disappointed and explained to the Owner that we were unhappy which him seemed surprised by. However after a long conversation with his staff he whilst we were waiting to pay, he did reduce our bill.
