We stayed here for a night in December 2016. We were a group of 5 people and booked 1 double room and 1 triple room.

WiFi: We got free WiFi in our room and near restaurants.

Check-in: We were greeted with a warm towel and a refreshing drink. We were given our room in 10-15 minutes after the check-in process.

Accommodation: We stayed in the second floor of the resort. There are no lifts as the entire resort is only just 2 or 3 floors. But the rooms are quite big and spacious. Rooms were clean and decent. And our rooms had good view of the garden.

Food: We had an A la carte menu for our lunch and the food was of low quality and expensive. Thus we had dinner from restaurant in the city. But the breakfast was good. Another major problem with the restaurant is that of the flies. There were too many flies around and no Fan in the restaurant.

Swimming pool: As its facing public road, it's quite noisy than the calm surroundings.

This resort is advised by many of the travel agencies, but I suggest you to avoid if you are planning for a long stay. This resort was booked by our travel agent as its near to Sigiriya Rock Fortress and Dambulla Caves.

Room Tip: This is a hotel for those on small budget for very short stays.

Checked into the hotel on 11.12.16 just after lunch. I called them twice requesting to keep the rooms ready as I was travelling with my family ( 4 kids).
To my disappointment :
1. Rooms were only cleaned while I was moving my luggage to the room
2. They kept all the used bed sheets without changing which was very unhygenic. I had to request them to change
3. They seriously need to invest in some Mattresses. Couldn't get a decent sleep with all the spring coils coming out & finally woke up with a back ache
4. Toilets are old & need refurbishing
5. Took the kids for a swim but after seeing the state of the pool that it was in, they refused to get in. It seems that it hasnt been cleaned for days / week's.
6. TV channels only limited to 6. I had to tune the tv to get a decent picture quality
7. Ordered alacarte for lunch & dinner. Either they mix food with old food or doesnt know how to cook.

Please think twice before making a reservation with this place.

Absolute waste of money through bookin.com which was non refundable

Good secluded place for a short break.Ground plus 2 floor building blocks have no lifts. Not suitable for elderly people unless assigned ground floor. With flies all over the restaurant and also on food, one gets put off.

Room Tip: As there are no lifts, ground floor is convenient.
